It takes a village...
Substantial support is required to successfully mount this production. All of these jobs are optional, but vital. Below you’ll see the jobs needed and the Sign-Up Geniuses. A follow up email will be sent after for a more detailed description of expectations.
Show jobs are before, during and after the performances on June 2, 3, and 4th. These jobs include Ticketing, Concessions, Break-A-Leg-O-Gram Sales, and Backstage Volunteers. Note: Show Job Volunteers will see the show for FREE the evening(s) they work.
TECH WEEK/SATURDAY FAMILY MEAL(S)
During Tech Week, we feed our cast and crew after each evening’s dress rehearsal. There is a sign-up for each night, including in between shows for our Saturday performances.
We need donated concessions items to sell during intermission! Please bring your donations to the Black Box (C-107) during Tech Week starting May 23rd.
SET BUILDING/SET PAINTING
We need volunteers to help build background pieces, and set platforms for the musical. These pieces are intended to be used throughout the years for future performances as well. For set painters, we are looking for someone who can design and outline and then others who can paint those pieces.
COSTUME ALTERATIONS/PICK-UP VOLUNTEERS
Those who can sew and create would be appreciated while Miss K. starts picking out costume pieces for each cast member. Volunteers will also be asked to find pieces at local thrift stores, craft stores, etc. Those who are able to alter pieces would also be greatly appreciated!
CAST PARTY COORDINATORS
These coordinators would figure out location, cost per cast member/crew member, decorations, send emails to families with specific details, etc. for the cast party after the final performance on June 4th.
Photographers would attend a dress rehearsal on either May 31st or June 1st to take photos of performers on stage and backstage of the tech crew.
